Ronan Murphy
Sales Manager
With over eight years of experience in the packaging industry, I have honed my expertise and developed a deep understanding of the sector. Since 2020, I have specialised in the plastic sector, gaining valuable experience in injection moulding.
Throughout my career, I have held various positions, including Business Development Manager (BDM), Key Account Manager (KAM), and Sales Manager. My roles have allowed me to work cross-functionally with teams and customers across Ireland, the UK, Belgium, the Netherlands, and mainland Europe, collaborating with renowned clients such as Nestlé, Unilever, and Danone.
Currently, I serve as the Sales Manager at Waddington Europe, where I oversee the sales function in Ireland and manage the customer service and planning team. In this role, I support the Sales Director and the BDMs in both Ireland and the UK. My key objectives include driving additional sales, optimising the customer service and planning functions to enhance our customer service experience, and providing seamless service to our clients.
Before embarking on my sales career, I spent five years travelling the world, living in diverse locations such as Australia, New Zealand, Uganda, the United States, and Canada. This global experience has enriched my perspective and adaptability in various professional settings.
Outside of work, I am a passionate rugby fan, supporting Leinster and the Ireland national team. I also enjoy playing golf in my leisure time.
